Impulse welding

Demande d'informations

Impulse welding is especially well suited for materials such as polyacetal, polycarbonate and most low- to medium-thickness heat-sealable films.

Impulse welding is widely used by automotive OEMs for staking operations.

Our impulse welders can handle special welding requests that other machines are unable to meet. They allow you to make several weld spots with just one tool and handle several parts at a time.

How it works:

In impulse welding, parts are locally heated by a welding head that discharges up to nine low-voltage impulses of electricity. Because the technique does not require strong pressures during welding, it does not alter the visible sides of parts yet ensures good weld quality.

Impulse staking does not generate dust or damage electronic circuitry in the event of contact.
